When did Faith Christian Center begin?

Faith Christian Center began on August 18, 1996 in a small church at 7500 Merrill Road with 12 adults who voluntarily moved from Detroit, MI to Jacksonville, FL to assist Bishop Davis and Pastor April with opening this church. The church soon added multiple services, outgrowing the initial facility and began holding services at Landmark Middle School. We later purchased and renovated a former grocery store to hold our services, while we were constructing our current 70,000 square foot facility.

What type of church is Faith Christian Center?

Faith Christian Center is a non-denominational Charismatic Church with a vision to teach people the Word of God in a way that is easy to understand and apply to their everyday lives. We purpose to serve our generation with love and strength as King David served his generation. Faith Christian Center is not a black church or a white church. It's a church where Jesus is Lord and we're striving for our church to be a good representation of what Heaven will look like. We believe that God has created His people as a people of victory, not defeat. As such, our goal is to instruct God's people in the life of victory He has ordained for them and cause them to walk in the revelation that they are, "Born to Win."

How do you become a member of Faith Christian Center?

At Faith Christian Center we believe church membership is a covenant commitment that should be undertaken with proper information. For that reason, we have a series of classes designed to give the prospective member a better understanding of what we believe, our church governmental structure, what to expect from their church, and what their church expects from them. Please call the church or see an usher during service for more information on the New Member process.

How do I get to the church?

Faith Christian Center is located in the Arlington area of Jacksonville, FL. The major landmark near the church is Regency Square Mall. The physical address of the church is 8985 Lone Star Road, near the intersection of Lone Star Road and Millcreek Road. The church is best accessed by traveling Atlantic Blvd., the Arlington Expressway, Southside Blvd., or FL Hwy 9A.

What is appropriate to wear to church?

At FCC, we're more interested in what is IN you than what you have ON you. So, our dress code is, "Come as you are!" Typical dress ranges from casual to professional.

Do you have ministry for children and teenagers?

Our commitment at Faith Christian Center is to minister to the needs of the entire family. Therefore, ministering to children and teenagers is a very high priority. Our children's ministry for ages birth through 5 th grade is called KidScope. Our youth ministry, called Glory Phi God has a Junior High group (6 th - 8 th grade) and a Senior High group (9 th - 12 th grade). To better serve our children and youth, we minister the Word of God to them in a way that is easily understood for their respective age level, and we provide an array of exciting events to keep them reminded that serving God is the best experience in life. Our 26,000 square foot youth facility makes this is an added bonus for our young people.

What other special ministries are offered at FCC?

Are your services broadcast on television?

At this time, Bishop Davis' television program, "Born to Win" airs weekly in the greater Florida area. Our plan is to expand to a national program in the very near future.
